We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years. We don’t come that often but when we do the food is always very good. The food is always hot and they bring hot tea to the table at no cost. My favorite is cashew chicken. It is done the way I like it and the rice is brought family style. It is a little dark in the restaurant and a bit dated but the service and food make up for that. We also ordered crab rangoons and they were excellent. As always a very good experience.

Came in late(like half an hour to close) and they were happy to seat us. Food was delicious! I was amazed, really. I order orange chicken pretty much everywhere I go. This sauce was thick and rich, soo good. Sometimes orange chicken feels like they slopped sweet and sour on it with orange zest. Not this! Pretty obviously made in-house crab rangoon. Will be back!

Ordered the sesame chicken with white rice. Crab Rangoon . Excellent! I’d say this restaurant beats China wok on Ellis and China King II on the Blvd!!!!! This is the new spot! The older man that took my order was nice (:

Always has the best food. Before I moved we would walk in and they would know exactly what we wanted and would start it for us. When I came back to visit this last time the woman kind of recognized us and when the table started to order she remembered who we were. Great food and amazing service always.

heard that this was one of the better chinese restaurants in jeff city so we came here for dinner! the prices were astonishingly affordable, with beef entrees coming in at around 12 each. prices for lo mein and fried rice were 9. we were served hot tea in tea cups, which we were pleasantly surprised by. for appetizers, we had crab rangoons and hot and sour soup, which were yummy, for our mains, we ordered hunan beef, king pao beef and sweet and sour chicken. we liked all the dishes and appreciated that it came with a heaping serving of rice for the three of us! the service was very quick and hospitable too.

I have been eating at Hunan for 45 years. It's my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend eating here the entire menu is fantastic. My favorite dish is the sesame beef and a bao bao platter appetizer.
